National College of Ireland, 2012-13
I achieved First Class honours, and the highest grade in the class. The course covered Ruby on Rails, VB.NET, and all the basics - XHTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, SCM (GIT) and networking. It also covered HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery. The course was highly practical with the majority of the grades awarded on project work.

Internet Growth Acceleration Programme (IGAP)

I successfully completed the first ever IGAP programme held by Enterprise Ireland for leaders of High Potential Start Up client companies. Our company, Trezur was declared one of the winners of the best participants competition on the prgramme. IGAP covered a range of topics geared around accelerating the growth of start-ups, post-launch. Enterprise Ireland is the Irish Government's trade development agency, with some really impressive course presenters.
Canon Europe Management Development Programme

While Financial Controller of Canon Ireland, I successfully completed the pan-European management development programme. The programme was delivered by Henley Business School, one of the world's highest rated business schools, and included off-campus course delivery across Canon's locations in Europe.

The undergraduate programme I completed at Trinity College included an entitlement to an honorary Masters in Arts degree once a certain number of years of relevant post graduation work experience had been attained.

Trained with Ernst & Young Dublin as a Chartered Accountant from 1988 to 1992. Admitted to Associate (full) membership 1992. Became a Fellow of the Institute in 2002.
Bachelor of Business Studies
Trinity College Dublin, 1984-1988
Achieved II-1 honours degree. Programme covered the entire gamut of business management. The final year syllabus included a project that accounted for 20% of the overall result. Mine was on the use of artificial intelligence in sales analysis, for which I received first class honours.
